Me + Joey from Friends + The Black Keys= New Ad Job for Showtime!
Check out my latest illustrated ad job for Showtime's 'Episodes'!
This is the packaging for season 3 of the Showtime series starring Matt LeBlanc, called "Episodes". After enlisting the uber talented Michael Hambouz to illustrate iconic LA buildings and scenes, Markus Weaver painstakingly shot hundreds of frames of paper in various states of crumple. I took said frames and Michael's illustrations, and worked some color correct, masking and animation magic. The end result is a whimsical take on the phoniness of Hollywood - something the show often mocks. blood, sweat, and easels...and more blood...showtime welcomes me back
Latest painting project for Showtime has gone live--on the web (YouTube, Vimeo and Showtime) over the weekend and over the cable airwaves this week! Already nearly 300,000 views in 3 days! Definitely my grimmest work- executed completely from above on stretched canvas with an eye dropper and a top secret recipe of blood...err...paint... More on the behind the scenes process at Behance
Enjoy and pass it on!
